To promote young designers, stylists, props, hair stylists, makeup artists, and open the doors of the international market of Benin models, such are the ambitions of this glamorous festival.
Under the theme “Fashion and Development”, the first edition of the festival was held for two days at the multipurpose room of the Bluezone.
10 young designers from Mali, Togo, Ghana, Ivory Coast and Benin were the last competition. They have distinguished themselves through various collections of ready-to-wear. Through the shows, the models unveiled their creations. It is the designer Teed Design of Benin who won the competition. He was awarded a trophy and an electric sewing machine.
A Makeup contest was also organized in parallel and the winner was the artist Freudia. She received a professional makeup keychain as a reward.
The best models have also received prizes. Each of them pocketed a symbolic envelope of 50,000 FCFA value.
