From 24 to 26 August, the NGO “Cracks Académie “, organized at Zongo Bluezone, the final phase of a competition on general culture between contestants from eight cities of Benin.
“This competition is aimed at providing pupils and students with an enabling framework for knowledge capitalization” said Bienvenu Kpokoun summarizing the origin of the project.
After a first knockout stage, eight finalists were selected to defend the colours of their cities at Zongo Bluezone: Djougou, Sakété, Lokossa, Cotonou, Porto Novo, Abomey and Tori-Bossito.
The final, between Porto-Novo and Abomey teams, dealt with general knowledge questions (history, biology, chemistry or geography), and was won by Porto-Novo team with a score of 340 points. The winning team was awarded the “TAKA” trophy. “The contest was long and arduous but we have been able to defend the colors of our city!” told us Alain, one of the happy winners.
As a partner of the event, Zongo Bluezone also received an award from the organizers.
