The university institute « Les Cours SONOU » has chosen the Bluezone to host its first excellence evening.
Created in 2007, “Les Cours Sonou” is an institute with an enrolment of about 5,000 students and offers various courses in law, project management and economics and political science.
In order to reward the best students and other important stakeholders of the university, the party dedicated to excellence was initiated. The ceremony was held in the multipurpose room of the Bluezone in front of an audience of administrative, business leaders and students.
For the founder of this facility, Fabrice Sonou, “it is entirely appropriate that we recognize the merit of those who distinguish themselves positively within an organization. This is an opportunity for me to thank the faculty and administration members for their personal involvement and their daily dedication to make the Institute become a benchmark for vocational training in Benin “. He also urged students to always strive for excellence and stressed that 2015 had been satisfactory. As shown by the success rate for the Higher National Diploma and participation in the entrepreneurship competition “Jeu de trombones” organized by the Embassy of the United States, and the third rank won by the team of “Les Cours Sonou” .
Frangis FAGNON, President of the Students’ Bureau, in his name and on behalf of his fellow students, said his satisfaction despite the difficulties that have marked their path. “We are aware that we must temper any sense of complacency and recognize that tonight’s ceremony is mainly the result of a synergy from both the general management, faculty and administration of our school, “ he said.
Certificates of honor and recognition awards were distributed to the brightest students, lecturers and some members of the administration. The evening was punctuated by a dinner and various artistic performances at Bluezone.
